Abstract
Background: The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected global health and the economy. This study aims to develop therapeutic and prophylactic approaches using modified immunoliposomes for SARS-CoV-2 neutralization.
Methods: Single-domain antibodies (VHH) were attached to the surface of liposomes, which were tested for neutralizing ability and their use as carriers for therapeutic compounds. Mice were immunized with RBD-SD1 antigen combined with Lip/cGAMP adjuvant to evaluate vaccine efficacy.
Results: Immunoliposomes demonstrated good neutralizing ability, and the Lip/cGAMP combination significantly enhanced immunity in mice.
Conclusions: This study presents promising therapeutic and prophylactic approaches against SARS-CoV-2 using immunoliposomes and vaccine strategies.
